Since 1989 Maluco Tactical has provided a wide range of specialized courses to improve the terrorism readiness of public safety, security and special operations professionals. Up to date Maluco Tactical has trained numerous government agencies and security companies around the world.

Our Courses

Executive Protection (Bodyguard)

An intense 5 day program designed to prepare each participant with a thorough working knowledge of both the basic and more advanced concepts of conducting protective operations in a high risk environment. Our program format is ideal for individuals who wish to seek employment in the field of High Risk VIP / Executive Protection or as a refresher program for those already employed as protective specialists.

Basic Rappel

This course will introduce you the latest tactical and rescue rappelling equipment and techniques currently being used throughout Europe and North America. The course will cover simple, practical applications of ropes, rappel devices, ascenders, belay devices and other equipment in technical/tactical situations. Lessons on the team structure, communication and tactical/rescue site considerations will help to develop skilled tactical/rescue teams. The student will be introduced in basic techniques for lowering systems, repelling, belaying and anchoring. Self rescues techniques are an integral part of the class. The techniques demonstrated are practical for simple victim evacuation from heights or where exposure of falling is involved.

Edged Weapons

Our intensive 3 day Edged weapons course is divided into 3 sections, each day will cover one section. The course will cover equipment selection, various carry techniques, tactical deployment from different positions, knife grips, types of stabs and slashes, counterattack techniques, ground fighting and grappling with knife and use of deadly force.

Basic and Advanced Handgun

This course is an intensive one day “tune-up” course for those who wish to move beyond basic handgun safety and knowledge and learn how to safely present a handgun from a belt mounted, dominant side holster to the target, fire, and recover safely to the holster.

The Advanced Handgun course is for graduates of the Basic Handgun course. This 3 day course will cover advanced combat shooting techniques that can be used in real life situations. These techniques have been developed and improved by our experienced instructors who have used them in real combat operations.
