Since 1989 Maluco Tactical has provided a wide range of specialized courses to improve the terrorism readiness of public safety, security and special operations professionals. Up to date Maluco Tactical has trained numerous government agencies and security companies around the world.

Maluco Tactical instructors are all highly qualified personnel who have extensive knowledge and experience in various fields of special operations and firearms training. We teach our students reality based courses for real life situations. Classes are kept small so each person can benefit from instructor attention and interaction. This also allows for a high level of safety.



Maluco Tactical is a member of the International Close Protection Training Association (ICPTA), the largest international training network based in Germany.

Maluco Tactical Training has become a certified training institution for official International Association of Close Protection Officers (IACPO) courses, the only one in Canada.

After successful completion of any Maluco Tactical course, students will receive a certificate that is internationally recognized and accepted in more than 40 countries.

Tactical Rappelling Basic


This course will introduce you the latest tactical and rescue rappelling equipment and techniques currently being used throughout Europe and North America. The course will address standards that apply to the Tactical/Rescue Teams. The strengths, limitations and proper care of equipment will be addressed.
The course will cover simple, practical applications of ropes, rappel devices, ascenders, belay devices and other equipment in technical/tactical situations.
Lessons on the team structure, communication and tactical/rescue site considerations will help to develop skilled tactical/rescue teams. The student will be introduced in basic techniques for lowering systems, repelling, belaying and anchoring.

Edged Weapon Level 1

Unlike firearms, knives do not jam, never need reloading and rarely break. Modern folding knives are easy to carry, quickly to employ and require only a small amount of skill to use effectively. Most folding knives can be carried in places where firearms cannot, and are great tools to augment firearms in your personal protection system. This 1 day course is not designed to make you a "knife fighting expert," but rather to equip you with the basic knowledge of edged weapons for self defensive.

Tactical Vehicle


Our intensive Tactical Vehicle 3-day course will instruct its participants in use of tactical vehicle management techniques used by various security and government agencies, including Ambush Prevention Strategies, Firearm Deployment Procedures, Vehicle Escape and Evasion Principles, Tactical Vehicle Interception and Immobilization and Tactical Vehicle Driving Techniques.

Shot Gun Basic


Designed to teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target.
The course will also familiarize participants with safe shotgun handling procedures and guidelines for storage, cleaning and travel.
Ammunition selection, firing the first shots, shooting positions, shotgun shooting sports and activities.

Hand Gun Basic

Alpine Resort Security


Being based in Vancouver, our focus has largely been and will continue to be on the upcoming Olympics. We are now offering two specialized training programs for alpine security, Alpine Resort Security Operator and Alpine Resort Security Specialist.
