Tactical Rappelling Basic
This course will introduce you the latest tactical and rescue rappelling equipment and techniques currently being used throughout Europe and North America. The course will address standards that apply to the Tactical/Rescue Teams. The strengths, limitations and proper care of equipment will be addressed.
The course will cover simple, practical applications of ropes, rappel devices, ascenders, belay devices and other equipment in technical/tactical situations.
Lessons on the team structure, communication and tactical/rescue site considerations will help to develop skilled tactical/rescue teams. The student will be introduced in basic techniques for lowering systems, repelling, belaying and anchoring.
Edged Weapon Level 1

Unlike firearms, knives do not jam, never need reloading and rarely break. Modern folding knives are easy to carry, quickly to employ and require only a small amount of skill to use effectively. Most folding knives can be carried in places where firearms cannot, and are great tools to augment firearms in your personal protection system. This 1 day course is not designed to make you a "knife fighting expert," but rather to equip you with the basic knowledge of edged weapons for self defensive.
Executive Protection (Bodyguard) Level 1
An intense 5 day program designed to prepare each participant with a thorough working knowledge of both the basic and more advanced concepts of conducting protective operations in a high risk environment. Executive Protection Specialist program has been developed by the German based ICPTA to give students the ability to deal with new security risks that arise daily on a global scale. During the 5 day course, students will be trained by professionals who have operated in various corporate and entertainment environments, as well as in combat zones. The program is split between classroom lectures and practical exercises that allow students to put theory into action. Numbers are kept small in order to maximize safety and time. Certified students are put into a database which they can then use as a reference for future employers.
Our program format is ideal for individuals who wish to seek employment in the field of High Risk VIP / Executive Protection or as a refresher program for those already employed as protective specialists.
Off Road Driving

This program has been designed to prepare and train law enforcement, military and private security companies to handle a 4WD vehicle during a tactical operation in various harsh off-road terrain safely and confidently.
Low Light Shooting Operator

The course is composed of three parts: classroom lessons, practical exercises and low light combat simulations.
During the course students will learn to use the best newest equipment while being taught techniques currently being used in hotspots around the world.
Bomb Counter Measures
Maluco's Bomb Counter Measure course was created in response to the ever increasing threat of terrorism in the world. This course is for security professionals who are looking for a high profile job in the industry. It teaches students how to effectively do a bomb threat assessment while planning the security of a client. Being able to adapt to changing conditions is another major topic covered in the course, due to the fact that nothing can be overlooked when dealing with bomb threats.

Tactical Baton
Maluco's Tactical Baton Basic course teaches students Tactical Baton fundamentals in a realistic setting. The program is simple to learn and easy to understand. It provides efficient knowledge of the Baton without long hours of training.
The techniques are designed to work effectively for everyone regardless of age, fitness or gender.
Shot Gun
Designed to teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target. The course will also familiarize participants with safe shotgun handling procedures and guidelines for storage, cleaning and travel, ammunition selection, firing the first shots, shooting positions, shotgun shooting sports and activities.
The length of the course is 8 hours.
Shot Gun Advanced

This course is intended as a basic primer of the use of the practical (as opposed to sporting) shotgun in the tactical environment. It is a compilation of various shooting, safety, and tactical methods from various special operation units.
Hand Gun
This course is an intensive one day "tune-up" course for those who wish to move beyond basic handgun safety and knowledge and learn how to safely present a handgun from a belt mounted, dominant side holster to the target, fire, and recover safely to the holster.
Hand Gun Advanced

The Advanced Handgun course is for graduates of the Basic Handgun course.
This course will cover advanced combat shooting techniques that can be used in real life situations.
These techniques have been developed and improved by our experienced instructors who have used them in real combat operations.
Tactical Rifle
Maluco's two day Tactical Rifle course teaches students the basics of handling a rifle and knowing how to use it. This includes transportation, weapon maintenance and shooting techniques. The techniques we teach have been tested and proven to work in the field by our instructors.
Raid Operator

Raiding is the invasion of a building or locality for lawful purposes. Maluco's course on the subject focuses not only on the execution of a raid, but the organization of a team, gathering of intelligence, briefing procedures and entry tactics. All this is taught while maintaining an emphasis on personal safety.
Hotel Security
This course is an overview of what is required for high profile hotel security. The student is presented with the responsibilities and methods of providing security for a client in a hotel setting as well as other techniques such as risk assessment and operational details. Also is covered the handling of day to day issues and special events occurring in a hotel environment.
Alpine Security

We are now offering two specialized training programs for alpine security, Alpine Resort Security Operator and Alpine Resort Security Specialist.
The topics covered in Alpine Resort Security Operator are as follows: Cold Weather Operations, Avalanche Safety, Intro to Alpine Equipment, Mountain Navigation, Environmental Operational Hazards on the Mountain, Emergency Planning and Evacuation on Mountain Resorts and Basic Mountaineering and Rappelling.
The topics covered in Alpine Resort Security Specialist are as follows: Security Measures for Special Events on Mountain Resorts, Intro to VIP Protection on Mountain Resorts, Glaciar Travel, Cold Weather Survival, Mountaineering and Rappelling - Advanced Techniques and Planning Rescue Operations.
Both classes involve combinations of classroom and field work. We will be visiting and doing work on 2010 Winter Olympic venues.
BST
The BST is a Justice Institute of BC design ed and sanctioned course which is required to acquire a security workers license (without supervision) in BC. Taught by Justice Institute certified instructors, this course covers the theory on topics that relate to the security industry such as: Professionalism, Ethics, The Law - how it applies to the Security Professional, Proper Note Taking and Report Writing, Personal Safety on the Job.
