The Tip of Spear Inc. is hosting a Maluco Executive Protection (Bodyguard) course in Edmonton, Alberta from March 26th to 30th, 2012.

The Executive Protection Specialist program has been developed by the German based ICPTA to give students the ability to deal with new security risks that arise daily on a global scale. During the 5 day course, students will be trained by professionals who have operated in various corporate and entertainment environments, as well as in combat zones. The program is split between classroom lectures and practical exercises that allow students to put theory into action.

The classes are scheduled to run from 0900-1700. At this point the class is limited to 16 students.

SHOT Show - Las Vegas

January 17-20, 2012 - Sands Expo Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV

At the SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Maluco Tactical instructors walked through miles of booths and halls to check out the newest weapon systems, training equipment, ammunition, outdoor apparel, law enforcement gear, optics and numerous types of other gear and accessories. They had the opportunity to see friends from companies like Glock, Beretta, Heckler & Koch, 5.11 Tactical, Benelli, Leupold,  Swarovski Optic and ZAK Tool.

Maluco Tactical Instructors attended a number of SHOT Show 2012 seminars tailored for law enforcement personnel, including: Selecting Your Concealment Holster, SWAT Tactics Overview, Low Light Training and Dynamic and Important Issues of Handgun Retention.
